How to connect to the internet via VPN with your local Windows machine?

Please follow these steps one by one carefully ...

1. Download & Install, OpenVPN - https://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html   
    Select the correct version for your system
    Ex: for Windows 8.1 64bit machine  -  " openvpn-install-2.3.8-I601-x86_64.exe "

     How to check your Windows system (64bit or 32bit)?
    
Start  >  Control Panel  >  System  >  System type

.  Download the certificate bundle - http://www.vpnbook.com/freevpn
    Ex: Euro1 OpenVPN Certificate Bundle

    Extract the file Euro1 OpenVPN Certificate Bundle
       (Right click on the file > Extract All > Extract)
             vpnbook-euro1-tcp80
             vpnbook-euro1-tcp443
             vpnbook-euro1-udp53
             vpnbook-euro1-udp25000
        

3. Save the Username & Pasword of the Certificate Budle as Password.txt (new file)

     a.) Open a Notepad
     b.) Copy & Paste Username & Pasword only
                 ex :

                       vpnbook
                       x2waVuna

     c.) Save as Password.txt      


4.  Go to the path below (in your 64bit computer)

      C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config      (C:\ > Program Files > OpenVPN > config)

     Ex:  config folder
                README.txt

 
5.  Copy & Paste all your files into the config Folder

     Ex:  config folder

             Password.txt
             README.txt
             vpnbook-euro1-tcp80
             vpnbook-euro1-tcp443
             vpnbook-euro1-udp53
             vpnbook-euro1-udp25000

   
6Go to C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\bin

     Right click on openvpn-gui.exe   >    Run as adminitrator

     Allow to changes...   >      (Yes or No)     >     Yes



     Go to the OpenVPN GUI - Desktop shortcut
     (or Start Button > All Programs > OpenVPN > OpenVPN GUI)

      Right click   >   Run as adminitrator

 
     Allow to changes...   >      (Yes or No)     >     Yes


7.  Go to the Task Bar in your Desktop (right side + bottom)

    Find the OpenVPN icon (as a screen with a lock)

    Right click on that icon  >   Go to all 4 ports (443, 80, 25000, 53) one by one &   >   Edit Config

    Edit (write) & Save it with Password.txt

    Ex:

        client
        dev tun1
        proto tcp
        remote 176.126.237.217 443
        remote euro217.vpnbook.com 443
        resolv-retry infinite
        nobind
        persist-key
        persist-tun
        auth-user-pass Password.txt
        comp-lzo
        verb 3
        .
        .
        .


8.  Then go again to the OpenVPN icon  >   Right click >   Select port 443 (80, 25000, 53)  >   Connect


9.  If not connect, follow this step too..

         Go to the Start Button > Control Panel > Network & Sharing Center


         Change Adapter Settings   >   Select the New Active, but not connected Adapter
         (Could find with X
, as a copy of your connected adapter)

         Ex:    Ethernet 2   /   Wireless 2   /   Broadband 2   /   etc  (with " Tap-Windows Adapter " )

         Right click on it  >   Propoties  

         Disable  (remove " ")   >   Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

         Select  (click on) >    Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)  
   
         Propoties    >    Select    >   Use the following DNS servers  

         Select  & Fill   >   Preffered DNS server : 8 . 8 . 8 . 8           Alternate DNS server : 8 . 8 . 4 . 4

 

         ( Select  >   Validate settings opon exit )    OK (or Close)


10.  Now try again to connect via VPN connection. (or Restart your computer & try again) That's it.

           Note: If you fail again, please reinstall your TAP Driver in your Windows system.

          Port 53 = DNS (Domain Name Server) / Official - TCP / UDP
          Port 80 = QUIC (from Chromium) for HTTP / Unofficial - UDP
          Port 443 = HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) over TLS/SSL / Official - TCP / SCTP / UDP
          Port 25000 = Teamware Office standard client connection / Official - TCP
